“ I received a slice of cake from a colleague. And it was pretty good. It was moist on and the icing wasnt bad. It wasnt so sweet that you couldnt eat it. I think the icing was butter cream. I didnt notice experience customer service or the atmosphere but my colleague didnt have any complaints. I would love to try some of their other cakes. I would recommend this place. ”

“ I ran in the other day, midway through our drive to Massachusetts from DC, to get some cookies and cake for Christmas. There was water pouring down from the ceiling, I assume a pipe burst, and those ladies were still making sure that all the customers were taken care of in between moving things out of the way. I was amazed at their composure and efficiency, despite the emergency. I have to say, they inspired me with their grit. Those ladies were wonderful and the little mousse cakes and cookies were amazing. I wish I had picked up more! Calandras has the butter cookies that I grew up with and they were wrapped so beautiful. I think this has just become a tradition for every time we drive up to Mass. We cant wait to come back. Thank you! ”

For YEARS I have been trying to find a local bakery that has red velvet thats even a fraction close to as good as the ones from my favorite bakeries in Brooklyn and London. I finally found rival red velvet at calandras. If you like true red velvet with real cream cheese frosting thats nice and moist and not dry, you must come here. The cream cheese frosting is really the highlight of this cupcake. Its like having a little mini cheesecake on top and its delicious! ”
